Nanny Professional Development
The Mom's Best Friend Nanny Professional Development
is a 4-hour course for nannies to sharpen
their skills and knowledge. Included in the seminar
are such relevant topics as: interview techniques,
developing your portfolio, age appropriate activities
for your charges, appropriate discipline, communication
with parent employers, safety, and much more.
The
seminar is a free course for all nannies placed
through Mom's Best Friend, and attendance is
required prior to placement. Mom's
Best Friend is working to empower nannies with
greater skills and professionalism and to provide
families with a higher level of care and service.

Nanny Training Instructor
Cecelia is working towards her degree in early childhood education at ACC and UT Austin.Having worked as a nanny/house manager for 8 years, she has extensive experience in working with children of varying ages and needs as well as maintaining fast paced households. Cecelia enjoys helping others and volunteers her time to local children charities. Cecelia feels passionate about helping nannies. She hopes that through the Nanny Training Institute, she can show them how to build great relationships with their employers, enrich the lives of their charges and maintain professional work environments.
