Kathy Dupuy, Founder/President
Kathy Dupuy began Mom’s Best Friend in 1994 and continues to run the Austin based company. Prior to launching this household staffing agency, Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University of Nashville, Tennessee, where she studied political science, communications and theater. Soon after graduation, Kathy gained experience campaigning for Teresa Doggett for State Comptroller, and scheduling and organizing as the Communications director of the Alliance Defense Fund in Arizona.
Since launching Mom's Best Friend, Kathy has successfully guided the company’s expansion into the larger Texas region by setting up offices in Houston and San Antonio, and franchising to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Kathy maintains regular hours in the Austin office, while simultaneously raising a family of four children with her husband, Stuart. Kathy looks forward to the future growth of the agency by providing many more families with exceptional care, support and trust.

LeAnna Hart, Director of Placements
LeAnna has been with Mom's Best Friend since 2004, where she started as the Director of the temporary services team. She now manages both the permenent and temporary divisions, bringing her years of customer service to the entire placement team. Prior to joining MBF, LeAnna spent several years as an advertising
account manager for a local Austin radio station, and she has also worked in customer service for Disney.LeAnna has a Bachelor's in Communication from the University of Arizona.

Laura Patterson, Director of Finance & Human Resources
Laura attended the University of Kansas where she received a bachelor's
degree in business administration, with an emphasis in advertising. She moved
to Austin to put her talents to use at GSD&M Advertising Agency in Media
Planning. Since Laura joined MBF as the Operations Manager in 2002, her role
has expanded into human resources, finance, and team lead for the recruiters
as the Director of Operations.

Jessica grew up in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Austin to study communications at St. Edward's University. She has over ten years of marketing, communication and project management experience, primarily in the financial and high tech industries including Swiss Bank (now UBS), Dell, RenewData and National Financial Partners. Jessica is passionate about marketing all of the household staffing services offered by MBF Agency as Director of Marketing.

Lisa Vines, Director of Sales Operations and Special Projects
Lisa Vines graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Communications.
She then went on to work for GSD&M for two years before coming to work for MBF as
Director of Permanent Placement. In this capacity, she created many successful,
long-term placements between families and caregivers. After becoming a mom herself
of two young children (Riley and Reid) she has taken on a new role for MBF as instructor,
trainer, and mentor for nannies of the Nanny Training Institute offered by MBF.
Drawing from her years of successful placements, she now also provides client
families with one-on-one in-home consultations and helps set expectations and
provides advice for the interviewing, hiring, and post-placement processes. MBF
further utilizes Lisa’s experience and expertise for special projects.

Audrey Sides , Recruiter
Audrey graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Corporate Communications. She spent a year as a recruiter for the national division of her sorority. This entailed traveling to campuses across the country launching chapters, including spending several weeks at a time recruiting and screening students. She also nannied for several families over the years, and completed an internship at The First Tee of Greater Austin. She brings a great deal of enthusiasm to the role of recruiter.

Monica graduated from the University of Texas and has worked hands on with children
in many different roles as a tutor, volunteer, and student teacher. Prior to MBF, Monica worked at an institute for multiple

Kate attended Texas A&M and started her career as a Veterinary Surgery Technician and
transitioned into a business owner for over three years. She has volunteered in various

Jim Winblood, President and CEO, Dallas/Fort Worth
After earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from the University of Oklahoma, Jim went on to graduate from Vanderbilt University Law School. Today, in addition to his role as President and CEO of MBF Dallas, he is an equity member in the law firm of Anderson & Jones, PLLC, with eight years of litigation practice in commercial and employment law. Jim also currently serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve, holding the rank of lieutenant.

Kim Winblood, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Dallas/Fort Worth
Kim received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, and then went
on to achieve her master's degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. Kim worked her
way through graduate school as a nanny, and subsequently worked as a teacher in
the Dallas area for four years where she taught health, served as the Female
Athletic Coordinator of a middle school, and coached soccer, volleyball, basketball,

Courtney attended the University of North Texas where

Kari currently attends Dallas Baptist University where she will graduate with her bachelor's
in Sociology. Before joining Mom's Best Friend, Kari worked as a nanny manager for 2 1/2 years.

orphanages in Honduras, Mexico, Tanzania, Swaziland, China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. Kari's

Holly Kehlenbeck, Permanent Placement Counselor
Holly attended Northland Baptist Bible College where she received her Bachelor's degree in
Elementary Education. She also worked as a Public Relations representative throughout school.
Prior to joining the MBF staff, Holly spent time working in various preschools, as well as
becoming a temporary nanny under MBF. After marrying a commercial pilot, Holly and her husband
were based in Puerto Rico for one year, where she was able to substitute teach in a unique

Lisa Stipe, Night Nanny Consultant
Lisa attended the University of Arkansas for two years, and graduated from
the National Academy of Nannies in Denver, Colorado. She is a professional
baby nurse and sleep trainer for infants, with over 20 years of experience
with newborns, including premature babies and multiples. She travels the
country teaching newborn baby care, assessing colic and reflux, and sleep
